*THIS DOCTOR IS NOT IN NETWORK WITH ANY INSURANCES*rnrnHaving spent the early part of my life in many different countries I am an open-minded psychiatrist who has been exposed to many different cultures, languages, and clinical scenarios.rnrnI trained in a city hospital for my child fellowship at Downstate and was exposed to all populations of children where the fellowship fostered initiative and independence; these skills have been invaluable to me in my day to day care in the Cohen Children u2018s medical center where Iu2019m an attending on staff.rnrnRealizing that patients with mental illness often have difficulty managing their medical problems I have also done a fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at Long Island Jewish HospitalrnrnMy special interests include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, depression, anxiety, mental illness in the medically ill; and cross cultural psychiatry. I see patients for medication management for ages 5 through adulthood and refer to psychologists for psychotherapy.rnrnIn addition to my private practice, I am on staff at Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen Childrenu2019s Medical Center. rnrnI am very dedicated to my patient's and strive to accomplish positive long term, interpersonal relationships with them and their families to achieve best possible outcomes. rnrnI offer sliding scale fees based on patientu2019s needs. I will gladly assist with insurance claim submission.
