Paul J. Kerner, MD, comes to Triangle Orthopaedics after practicing in the Capital District of Upstate NY for the past 4 years. Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Kerner completed a fellowship at The Insall Scott Kelly Institute (ISK) in NYC. At ISK, he trained under the team physicians for the NY Yankees, NY Knicks, and the New Jersey Nets in all areas of knee and shoulder reconstruction. Most recently, Dr. Kerner completed a fellowship in Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Brown University in Providence, RI. Dr. Kerner's main interests are in Sports Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery of the foot, ankle, knee, and shoulder. He has been in practice since 2003. His wife, Nicole, is a practicing Gynecologist and he has 3 children.
