She attended the University of Ibadan College of Medicine in Nigeria, West Africa. She pursued her residency training in Psychiatry at Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia and completed her fellowship at the prestigious Emory University Hospital Atlanta, Georgia. She has also earned a Fellow status at American Psychiatric Association. She is a board certified psychiatrist.
