Long is a urologist treating patients in the MetroWest Boston area and maintains offices at Newton Wellesley hospital. He holds certification from the American Board of Urology and is also a member of professional organizations including the American Urology Association, the Society for Urologic Cryo-surgeons, and the Urologic Society of America.rnFor his undergraduate degree Dr. Long attended Dartmouth College. He pursued his medical degree at Harvard Medical School. He continued his medical education and as a resident at Massachusetts General Hospital. Here he completed an internship, 3 years of general surgery and the full urology residency ending as chief resident in 1990. He subsequently completed a fellowship in urologic oncology through the National Cancer Institute. rnPatients visiting Dr. Long can receive a full range of urologic services particularly those pertaining to all aspects of urologic oncology, prostate cancer, voiding dysfunction, BPH, UTI, and kidney/ureteral stone disease. Dr. Long lectures locally and nationally regarding various topics of urology, and has written extensively on the use of cryoablation in managing prostate cancer. Zocdoc is for New Patients only.
