Jeffrey C. Schildhorn, MD is a fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in the treatment of all sports-related injuries as well as arthroscopic and open treatment of shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, and elbow injuries. He later graduated from Duke University with a degree in chemistry. There he was a member of both the cross country and track teams. He continued his education at Temple University School of Medicine, graduating with honors. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.rnrnDr. Schildhorn then completed his fellowship in minimally invasive surgery and shoulder reconstruction at San Diego Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine. He focused his specialty training on advanced arthroscopic surgery and shoulder replacement. During this time he participated in the care of athletes from the San Diego Padres and San Diego State University.rnrnDr. Schildhorn enjoys maintaining a high level of physical fitness. His hobbies and sporting interests include surfing, golf, running, cycling, yoga and photography.
