His primary goal as a practitioner is to ensure that each of his patients receives the highest available standard of orthopaedic care. Dr. Kim serves as an assistant professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Leni and Peter W. May Department of Orthopaedics.rnIn order to pursue his medical degree, Dr. Kim attended Weill Cornell Medical College. He continued his medical education at the Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Womenu2019s Hospital, completing an internship program in general surgery. The recipient of an Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation Grant, Dr. Kim received his residency training in orthopaedic surgery through the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Program. He has also completed a fellowship program at the Curtis National Hand Center.rnPatients visiting Dr. Kim can receive a full range of orthopaedic services. He specializes in upper extremity surgery, performing procedures ranging from minimally invasive endoscopy to neurovascular structure reconstruction. In addition to his practice, Dr. Kim has published numerous articles and textbook chapters. When he is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
