Dr. Ilona Shternfeld is a board certified, fellowship trained Ophthalmologist. After completing Columbia University magna cum laude, she finished New York University School of Medicine. She then completed a Research Fellowship in Ophthalmic Pathology and an Internal Medicine Internship in University of Wisconsin - Madison. Dr. Shternfeld did her Ophthalmology Residency at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus in Manhattan Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat Hospital, New York. She is on staff at Manchester Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital. Her practice is open to patients of all ages, with an emphasis on eye muscle disorders, diabetes, dry eye, and glaucoma.
