Gregory Robert Thoreson, M.D. is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Urology at Texas A&M College of Medicine. Dr. Thoreson graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas School of Medicine in San Antonio. Prior to entering medical school, Dr. Thoreson worked at Pfizeru2019s Global Research and Development headquarters, later completing a research fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine while in medical school. Dr. Thoreson trained in the highly competitive urology residency program at UT Southwestern and has performed hundreds of robotic and reconstructive surgical procedures. rnrnDr. Thoreson provides minimally invasive and state of the art surgical technique to help his patients on their road to recovery quickly. In addition to general urology, he has a clinical interest in urological oncology, reconstructive urologic surgery, kidney stone treatment and prevention, voiding dysfunction, and infertility. He has authored numerous papers and book chapters on these topics and enjoys being on the forefront of research and development.
