Every day I feel privileged to participate in my patients' lives in a direct and personal way over issues that vary from outlining a preventive care regimen, or treating a sore throat to arranging care for a life-threatening illness. Since I have been practicing in the Berkeley area for approximately 16 years, I am well-acquainted with local specialists and health resources. I believe in partnering with patients to understand their needs and preferences, and at the same time giving my opinion regarding their best path of care in a direct and open manner. I practice primary care internal medicine, including providing routine gynecologic care, adolescent medicine, adult medicine and geriatric care, even occasionally doing home visits for elderly homebound patients.
