Dr. Ayman Matta

Ayman Matta, M.D., F.A.C.S. is the Director of the New York Eye Institute. Dr. Matta is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Matta specializes in Cataract Surgery, Refractive Surgery, Glaucoma, Corneal Transplants, Medical and Laser Retina Surgery, including LASIK, PRK, PTK , AK , and Lens Exchange Therapy. rnrnDr. Matta completed medical school and his internship at Ain Shams University School of Medicine, and completed his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens and the State University of New York, Stony Brook at the Nassau University Medical Center.
